Small Pet Portrait Commissions

I’m very happy to announce that I will be opening up commissions for small pet portrait paintings!

I’m very excited to do this. We love our pets, and every pet has a personality that makes them unique. The best part of painting is that it captures the feelings we feel in our pets that perhaps a photo can’t do. Please read below the commission process and notes for more info. Thank you!

Commission Process

  1. Email me if you’re interested at anikamarshmallow@gmail.com so we can discuss about your pet, size, and timeline, and pricing

  2. Send me via email a high quality photo reference of your pet, as I mainly work from photo references

  3. 50% of total payment for commission is due when painting application begins

  4. When painting is completed, and approved by the client, then the remainder of payment is due before painting is shipped

Extra things to note about the pet portrait commissions:

  • Painting dimension size must be no larger than 8 inches on the longest side (Sizes like: 4x4, 5x5, 5x7, 6x6, 6x8, 8x8), and I will be using wood panels

  • Pricing will be discussed via email, the price for the painting itself will be estimated to be about 125 - 150 dollars

  • The painting process will take approximately 14-18 days from start to finish, and drying time will take 3 weeks before I can apply varnish to protect the painting. This timeline will vary slightly based on the size of canvas, thickness of paint, and complexity of the subject, but generally about 5 to 6 weeks from starting the painting to shipping.

  • Shipping and handling will be an additional cost, and will vary based on size, weight, and destination, but I will do my best to find the best shipping rate, as well as ensuring that your painting is well packed and protected during transit

  • I will get a quote from FedEx for delivering your painting, and then I will forward the shipping quote to the client
